|What I’m Eating…|
Thanksgiving food! The Sunday before Thanksgiving, we had a church care group friendsgiving, and then Thursday was Thanksgiving, so I ate it all last week….and I’m not even upset about it! Now, this week, I’m trying to come down off of the carb overload and eating like I should.
|What I’m Reminiscing About…|
Last week, I got to thinking about past Thanksgivings where we had 10 or more people (my great aunt and family, then my sister’s ex family, and my grandfather, who has passed since then, and sometimes friends) at the house. I really did enjoy that because I liked to just sit back and observe the different conversations (which was quite entertaining sometimes). Thanksgiving lunch was then followed by a nap for some (hello, food coma) and always a game of cards or something else, or maybe all of it! HOWEVER, I am an extroverted introvert (we do exist) and the amount of “people-ing” absolutely wore me out….so now that we have small Thanksgivings again, I am really really enjoying that life too 😉
…..and for something funny 🙂 because I don’t like to be sad

nothing! It’s Christmas time and winter (well, it will be soon enough), and I’m loving it!

the local Christmas parade & Christmas tree lighting, the local Symphony’s Christmas concert, church Ladies Christmas party, local production of the Nutcracker, Church Christmas dinner, church Christmas program, and Christmas & New Years!
