Weekend Update [10.12.26]

It was a rainy weekend!!

Friday

After work, my mom and I met at the newest antique “mall” in town, but they were closed (Google lied about the closing time). We had planned to eat supper out afterward anyway, so we met up at the restaurant. While we were eating, my friend called and said her little girl had to get me something because it had cats on it and I love cats and then insisted that she give it to me 🙂 so they had to drive to the restaurant so she could give it to me. Isn’t that precious?!

Tea tastes better in a cute cup! 🙂

After we got home, it was a evening of relaxing, and puzzling 🙂

Saturday

Saturday morning was a slow, lazy morning. The rain from Isaias had made it here so we had planned to stay inside all day. So, I did not even set an alarm to get up and run. I started with a cup of coffee and kitty cuddles…

blurry…apparently everyone was moving…

….followed by breakfast, NCIS, and more kitty cuddles.

The rest of the day was spent doing laundry, cleaning, purging, and organizing.

Sunday

Sunday morning was our Next Steps day. After a stop at Starbucks, and a quick breakfast once we got to church, I got to work on getting the booklets out for the classes.

The classes were good, Sunday School was great, worship was…well, I can’t even put into words…(you know, when the spirit moves and a different kind of praise and worship breaks out)…amazing, phenomenal, awesome, none of it can get close to describing it! We had a visiting preacher and he delivered an awesome message!

Even when the storms come, stand!

After church, we had lunch for those that have finished the first 3 Next Step classes, and on the way home, my mom and I stopped in two different places to do some antique shopping. We were looking for something specific (not me, but my mom was) but of course, I found something to buy LOL

Look how pretty they look in there! 🙂

The rest of the afternoon and evening was spent resting and preparing for the week.

Happy Monday!!
