Studying the Hodgepodge [9.2.26]

Happy Wednesday, friends! It’s time for Joyce‘s Wednesday Hodgepodge linkup. Let’s do this!! Here are this week’s questions with my answers in italics.

1. What’s something you wanted to do this summer that you never got around to doing?

Finishing the cleanout and re-organization of the garage…but, honestly, it has just been too hot to get much of anything done outside.

2. Were you the student who sat in the front row or hid in the back of the class? If you could go back and take one high school class again just for fun, which would it be?

Front row 🙂 Just for fun, I would take my math classes again. I had great math teachers, and I like math.

3. What characteristics do you think are essential in a good teacher (this can be applied to anyone who teaches, not just classroom teachers)?

He/she should be able to teach ALL students. He/she should be able to adapt any lesson for all learning styles.

4. September 2nd is National Grits Day. Have you ever eaten grits? Are you a fan? If so, how do you like yours? Would people describe you as ‘having grit’?

I love grits!!! I like my grits with salt and butter…or with cheese. I do think I could be descrbied as having grit.

5. What’s something you’re never too old or too young to enjoy?

Fun 🙂

6. Insert your own random thought here.

I am so over this summer heat!!!
