Let’s Look: Perfect Night In

Today, I am linking up with Shay from MixandMatchMama and Erika from ALittleBitofEverythingBlog to look at … Our Perfect Night In.

So, for me, a perfect night in includes, but is not limited to:

Food: this is usually just whatever we are eating for supper, not usually anything special.
However, this is sometimes followed by ice cream or a piece (or two) of candy. For
me, I sometimes have a Vanilla Chai. Other times, I can control myself and not eat
anything after supper. It just depends on my mood (and if I will be running first
thing the next morning HA!) If it is a holiday or a night where we don’t have to get
up early the next morning, we might even have coffee:) if it is the holidays and my
sister is home, we might have pizza, or chips and cheese dip, but most times, we
just eat what we have, nothing is usually planned.

Watching: Hello Amazon Prime and Netflix! There is almost always something we can find
to watch on one of those two. If not, we also have Acorn TV. Sometimes it’s a movie,
or a documentary, or maybe even a series of some sort. Between the 3 streaming
platforms, we can find something to watch.

         …maybe not your people

Reading: If there was no TV, I would still be fine. A perfect night in definitely includes
          reading!

Game Night: when my sister is home, a perfect night in usually involves games. We
usually play SkipBo and/or Phase 10, but sometimes we will play Labyrinth or
Suspend. We get extremely competitive when we play Suspend…
(unfortunately, I don’t have pictures of both games. I thought I did but apparently
we were having too much fun)

Cozy: a perfect night in would not be as perfect if it wasn’t for the feeling of
cozy! When I am watching TV, I always have a blanket close by. These blankets are
simply made from 2 pieces of fleece, cut strips around the edges, tied together.
(Sometimes, when it is actually cold enough, we have the fireplace on too)

When I am sitting in my chair in my room reading, I always have my Icelandic sheep
wool blanket over me. Best thing I bought on that trip!
