Hello Monday / Weekend Update {1.30.23}

Let me start by saying, today is my grandmother’s 84th birthday! Happy Birthday Gah-Gah!

Friday Night

Low key, stayed at home, started on laundry. Short and sweet 🙂

Saturday

I got up and ran but only 2.5 miles this time. I had way too much to get done to be spending an hour and a half outside. Once 2.5 miles were pounded out, it was time for coffee, breakfast, and started Hope Street.

After an episode of Hope Street, it was time to start on church work. Since we had an EPIC night planned at church at 6, and I needed to be there at 5 (and eat before that), all work needed to be finished early. There would be no time to get it done afterwards, or before Sunday morning. I got my work finished (and laundry finished), took a shower, got dressed, went to eat, and off to church we went. EPIC Ministries is a group that does fun “shows” for children but still teaches them about Jesus. It was a BLAST!

Sunday

I love Sundays 🙂 Even though the mornings are always busy (at least for us), we get to go to church and worship God. I woke up early, like usual, fed the cats, and got ready for church. On the way to church, we stop at Starbucks for cappuccinos and egg bites:) Once we got to church, our work continues (mine as admin asst; my mom’s as media/lyric producer). We do stop to eat our breakfast. A typical morning means I am getting the Check-In iPads & printer set up, making copies and distributing the Service Order for the day, and making whatever other copies might need to be made. The rest of the time is usually spent still doing various other things that I need to. This particular morning I worked on getting things together for the Wednesday night and Sunday that I will be at Disney 🙂 Sunday School was from 10:00 to 10:45, then the children come down for Worship. We have Worship and Word from 11:00 to 12:00-12:30. Most Sundays, we go home and relax and work on getting things together for the week. But this Sunday, we had to stop for groceries on the way home. Then, it was time for Sunday relaxation. We did do a little work after lunch but we were home and in our PJs so it wasn’t a big deal.

I just realized that I am too busy to get pictures on Sundays. I almost never have pictures to share. I do at least to try and get an OOTD picture HA!
