Goals 2020: How Did I Do?

Well, we’ve made it past 2020! It.has.been.a.year….

While it has been a terrible year for most, it was honestly a great year for me (minus COVID in June). I do know many people have died from this virus (some I know personally), along with other sad and terrible things (I’m sure we’ve all seen the news this year), but I choose to focus on the positive things.

Since 2020 is over, it’s time to look back at how I did with my goals:

*read at least 2 books a month
While I didn’t always get two books read every month, I did read a total of 27 books so

that averages out to be a little over 2 books a month…so I’ll count that as a success!
You can read my thoughts on all 27 books:
                [JANUARY
                [FEBRUARY
                [MARCH
                [APRIL
                [MAY
                [JUNE
                [JULY]
                [AUGUST
                [SEPTEMBER]
                [OCTOBER]
                [NOVEMBER]
                [DECEMBER]

*run at least 2 times a week
despite not being able to run for about 4 weeks in June (two for COVID, two to build
back up) and then a week off in December (because I couldn’t safely run on ice while
on vacation in Alaska), I still managed to run 110 days in 2020, which averages out to
be 2.1 runs a week so….this goal is counted as a success!

*run a half marathon
DONE!! I ran the (virtual) St. Jude Half Marathon on November 7th. I can’t wait to do it
again (hopefully in person) in 2021!

*post at least 2-3 times a month

I posted 59 times in 2020 so that means I averaged 4.9 posts a month. Looks like I
       exceeded this goal! YAY!!
