//CURRENTLY: {December} 2021

Anne, at In Residence, hosts a linkup on the first Wednesday of every month and invites readers to share a few things they’re up to currently. Be sure to head over to Anne’s blog and see what everyone is up to this month.

|DECORATING|

for Christmas!! (technically, the tree has been up and decorated since the week
before Halloween because I was going to be out of town at the time I normally
     put it)

before the babies got in it                                       2 out of 3 in the tree

|FEELING|
the Christmas spirit! (and if someone doesn’t have it, I probably just stay
away…but really, the people I am around the most have it too)

|SENDING|
(hopefully) Christmas cards. I just have to buy some and mail them. I meant to
start working on it when I thought of it in November…but life HA!

|SMELLING|
burning leaves. Now that most of the leaves are down, people in the
neighborhood feel the need to burn their leaves and limbs (I like the smell…but
now the smoke gives us migraines…). Since we live in town, it is not necessary
because we have a “leaf sucker” that the city brings through the neighborhoods
and sucks up the leaves. But, since they have no issues with the smoke, people
will still probably burn leaves so we will just have to stay inside and not get to
enjoy outside, until the burning is over:
|WRAPPING|
a Christmas ornament (truth…I’m putting it in a gift bag). We have our Ladies
Christmas banquet at church this weekend and we are doing an ornament
       swap. I can’t wait!

The neighbours behind us build a fire almost every night on the weekend and some nights I love it and other nights it gets to be too much so I hear you on the burning leaves.

I'm late getting to comment on Currently posts, but wanted to say how cute the cats in the tree are! We've had that same thing happen many years.
