A Greek Hodgepodge [8.27.25]

Happy Wednesday, friends! Let’s do this!! It’s time for Joyce‘s Wednesday Hodgepodge linkup! Here are this week’s questions with my answers in italics.

1.  When someone finds out what you do or where you’re from, what’s a question they always ask?

I am an engineer, but I have a math degree. Because of that, some people think I am super smart. No, I am just good at math.

I am from the South. Non-southerners say the accent is cute. I know what I sound like, and I don’t (usually) mind it, but sometimes I don’t know that they really think it is cute. Some seem to say it as a way to make fun. Again, I don’t mind. I’m proud of where I live (until it’s hot and humid LOL).

2. Did you participate in ‘Greek Life’ when you were in college, or have children who did? If so what was your experience like? Taking another tack…have you ever been to Greece? If not, is that a destination on your bucket list?

I did not participate in Greek life during college.

I have not been to Greece, but it is on my travel bucket list!

3. Do you like Greek food? If so what’s your favorite dish?

Tzatziki. I’m sure there are other items, but this is the only thing I can think of at the time.

4.  What incredibly common thing have you never done?

Get a tattoo…maybe. I don’t have one and don’t want one. But I know a lot of people who do.

5. What is a telltale sign that you’re upset?

I get quiet. I stop communicating. When it gets to this point, there should probably be a warning message.

6. Insert your own random thought here.

Life is life-ing, but it is fall. All is well!
