Weekend Update [8.10.26]

It was a great weekend!!

Friday

Friday morning, I got up early and got in a 2.5-mile run. I wanted to make sure to get it in early since I knew I wouldn’t be able to Saturday.

After that, I came home and enjoyed coffee and breakfast. I got a few things done, and then I got a call. I went and discussed it with the boss, and… I got a job!! I am so excited! (If you can remember, I have been unemployed since the middle of November… not for lack of trying, though!)

After that, I came back home and got a few things done before heading to the church to help prepare for the Ladies Conference the next morning.

We were there for about 1.5-2 hours, and was back home before too long. After supper, I read a little while, before falling asleep.

Saturday

Saturday morning was the big day! We had a wonderful breakfast and shopped with the vendors before heading into the sanctuary for worship and a message from our guest speaker. It was a great, refreshing morning with other Godly ladies and sisters in Christ.

On the way home, we stopped at Subway to pick up lunch and then spent the rest of the day at home doing laundry and relaxing.

Sunday

Unfortunately, I woke up sick Sunday morning, so I did not go to church.

While it isn’t the same as being there in person, I am thankful for the livestream!

I was able to get laundry finished, and I was able to keep food down, so I was able to enjoy most of my Sunday. It must have been a short-lived bug, and I am thankful for that!!
