It was a relaxing weekend!!
Friday
If you remember from earlier posts, our garage purge (and eventual update) has been an ongoing thing. Well, Friday, we worked on it some more. We pulled totes out, went through and threw away a lot, and what wasn’t thrown away was organized in totes and the totes were labeled. Since it was so hot, we did what we could and then were done for the day. We did bring some totes inside the house to look through later, in the AC. Even though it was hot and we weren’t outside long, we did manage to get a lot thrown away or organized.
I did go back outside that afternoon to spray the yard for mosquitoes. It was probably past time :/
Saturday
I was up at 5 am. I knew I needed to get my act together again because I have fall and winter races to train for. By the time I got up, made my bed, fed the cats, and got dressed and headed out the door, it was about 5:45, but it was daylight so I didn’t wait any longer. Even that early in the morning, it was already hot and humid, but…I got in my 2.5 miles!
After cooling off and changing out of sweaty running clothes, it was time for coffee and cuddle time before breakfast.
After breakfast, I worked on laundry, blog posts, church work, and a few things from the garage purge.
After supper, I read a little while before falling asleep.
Sunday
Sunday morning, I was up early to curl my hair (which had a mind of its own), got dressed, stopped at Starbucks, and headed to church. We had a great time in Sunday School, and a wonderful morning of worship and the Word.
After church, my mom and I went to eat at the Sunday buffet in town, before making a stop at Kroger and heading home. We made some lattes at home and relaxed a while, before it was time for me to go back to the church for a meeting.
I was there for about two hours before heading back home. I did stop and get Subway for supper. We watched some TV while eating, and then I read (finished my book!) before falling asleep.
