It was a relaxing weekend!!
Friday
Thursday, our HVAC unit’s motor died. So, we were without AC Friday until the new motor was installed. So, I didn’t do much because if I moved, I was hot. We did have the ceiling fans on warp speed, and had the windows open to pull any air throughout the house, but yeah, Friday was basically trying to be as still as possible LOL.
Once the AC was back on, I did laundry 🙂
Saturday
Saturday was pretty chill. I got up, drank my coffee, then had breakfast before working on the blog and some church stuff.
After lunch, I went outside to water the plants and check on the hostas that had flowers opening 🙂 It has been raining enough the last two weeks that I haven’t had to water them, until Saturday.
Sunday
Sunday morning was such a wonderful morning of praise and worship, followed by an amazing message from our Pastor.
After church, my mom, my friend, and I tried a new place in town. I will say that they are newly opened so I am hoping this improves, but they. were. slow. We waited a long time for our food…but it did taste good!
After lunch, I went home, did a few chores, and then headed back to the church for a surprise 60th birthday party for our Children’s Director. She was actually surprised. She thought she was coming to a meeting HAHA
I got home around 8, did a few things in my nightly routine, and then went to bed.
