It was a good weekend!!
Friday
I didn’t do much on Friday. I did a little bit of blogging, most of the laundry, and just enjoyed being at home, with the windows open.
Saturday
Saturday morning, I had another local-ish 10K (it was about an hour drive). It was warmer than the week before, but not too bad. It has certainly been hotter in past years! Unless I lose my mind and decide I want to melt during a race in the middle of summer, this will be my last race until September.
I drove back home, showered, got dressed, and headed to the church for our Pastor’s (and friends’) daughter’s high school graduation party. It was a crawfish and shrimp boil, but I did not take part in the crawfish and shrimp (not a fan!). It was cute and fun though!
After the party was over, I came home and stayed in for the rest of the night. I had thought about going to watch “The Devil Wears Prada 2” with friends, but I was really tired.
Sunday
Sunday was Mother’s Day!! We did our usual stop at Starbucks on the way to church. Sunday School, worship, Children’s Church, and the Word was all amazing!
After church, my mom and I got our pictures made and then headed to the restaurant to eat. We ate with friends 🙂
After lunch, we stopped at Lowes to get some more plants 🙂 We got two different ferns, a sweet potato vine, two different flowers to be planted together, and foxglove.
The rest of the afternoon and evening was spent together, watching TV and loving on cats 🙂
