It was a rather chill weekend.
Friday
Most of the day Friday was spent at the church for a funeral. I did get a few things done before heading to the church to get the pictures and music ready before the visitation, and then I was there until the funeral was over. I stopped on the way home and picked up supper for my mom and me.
Saturday
On Saturday morning, I had an alarm set, and I was up with the sun, headed out for a run. I was a pretty nice morning.

After my run, I changed clothes and headed to the clinic for a shot, and then I was back home for the rest of the day, and it was nice!! I did laundry and got quite a bit of church work done.
Sunday
Sunday morning was like most, with our Next Step classes. Of course, there was a stop at Starbucks on the way, and saw the last of the Samaritan’s Purse team headed out of town. They have been here for two months helping our community clean up from Ice Storm Fern. I was able to volunteer with them, so it was a little sad to see them go.

We had a great time in Sunday School, a wonderful time of worship, and an awesome Word for the children from the Children’s team and for the adults from the Pastor.

After church, I stayed for the last step of the Next Step classes, which is where they “meet” the pastor, have lunch, and discuss where they feel like they want to serve in the church.
Afterwards, I headed home, worked on more laundry, did a little more church work, and just enjoyed relaxing and being at home!
Happy Monday!!
