It was a nice, relaxing, post-Christmas weekend!
Friday
Friday was the day we took down the Christmas decorations, ran to the church to install a light, and then spent the rest of the day doing laundry and relaxing.
Saturday
I got up, fed the cats, got ready, and headed out for a 6-mile run. It was a foggy and humid morning, but once I made up my mind and got outside, I actually enjoyed being out there.
After my run, I ate breakfast, worked on the remaining laundry, and relaxed, getting ready for Sunday.
Sunday
Sunday morning, I had an 8 am meeting at church, so we were earlier than usual. We made our usual stops at McDonald’s and Starbucks on the way. We had a great time in Sunday School, awesome worship, a wonderful word for our kids in Children’s church, and a great message about praise from our Bishop in “big” church.
After church, we stopped by Subway on the way home to pick up lunch, and then spent the rest of the day relaxing.
