It was a nice, relaxing weekend!!
Friday
Friday, we had a couple of annual appointments so we were gone all day for those. After the last appointment, we stopped at a new-to-us antique mall. Like all of the others before it, we really enjoyed it. We didn’t get a lot this time. Actually I am the only one that bought something. I bought some antique leather books to go in my barrister bookcase.
After that, we went to the mall to shop and eat. We stopped at Sephora, ate supper at Firebirds, and then finished with a stop at Barnes & Noble
It was fairly late (for us lol) when we got home, so it wasn’t too long before it was time for bed.
Saturday
I had planned to get up and run, but unfortunately, it was raining…and it wasn’t a light rain either :/ So, I slept in and then got up and had my coffee. After that, we left to run and errand and ate breakfast while we were out. It was a new local breakfast place and it was delicious!!
After breakfast and groceries, we came home to do laundry, church work, and to just enjoy being at home.
Of course, there’s always time for a cuppa and a slice of pumpkin roll 🙂
Sunday
Sunday morning was like most, with no early meetings or early classes. Yes, there was a Starbucks stop.
We had a fun and educational time in Sunday School, a great time of worship and an awesome message from our Pastor (and for the children, our Children’s team). After church, we ate lunch at a local restaurant with friends, and then went home and stayed for the rest of the night. It was nice and relaxing 🙂
