It was a busy weekend!!
Friday
Friday night was spent finishing getting everything ready for the 5K the next morning, eating supper, and going to bed.
Saturday
Saturday morning, we were up before the sun. We were meeting with all of the volunteers at 6:15 to gather everything and head to the run area. We got everything set up and opened registration. It was a nice cool morning for it too!
The run was successful, we raised more money this year than any of the previous years, and we had a great time!

After the run, my mom had small group at church. So, while she was doing that, I worked on getting the paper registrations entered, and the results/times entered and posted. It was a beautiful day to work outside!

When that was over, we went to Hobby Lobby because we wanted to get more/different things for the Christmas tree. Of course, that is always fun!

We went home and put the new decor with the other, and then got a few things done, before heading back out. We were going to help “sheep” the pastor’s yard for Pastor Appreciation. The Children’s Department had colored sheep and we put them out in his yard while they were gone to eat. He was surprised (at first, he thought his yard had gotten rolled again) but he loved it!

When we finished “sheeping” his yard, we went home, showered, ate supper, and got ready for Sunday.
Sunday
Sunday morning was “normal” schedule but a full day! We had a wonderful time in Sunday School, a great time of worship, and phenomenal preaching from our Bishop. The Children’s Department had also dressed in pink in support of our Children’s Director who is a breast cancer survivor. Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of all of us.
After church, several of us stayed to get ready for the fall festival that night. We had tacos for lunch, and then we got to work. I wish I had gotten pictures of the decorations but failed to do that too. But, the main thing is that the kids (and adults) had fun!

After the fall festival was over, we went home and crashed!
Happy Monday!!
