Ten Quick Reads

This week’s topic: quick reads! I’ll be quite honest…I had to do some research on this. I don’t know that I’ve ever read a book in a day, but that’s just because I usually don’t have enough free time in a day to do that much reading. But according to “the Google”, these are quick reads. I’m only listing those that I have read, or that I’m interested in.

1. Of Mice and Men

(read in school; re-read 2 years ago) – 107 pages; It was good but I was mad at the ending!

2. Home

(want to read) – 160 pages

3. We Have Always Lived in the Castle

(want to read) – 160 pages

4. Love Poems for the Office

(want to read; sounds hilarious) – 112 pages

5. Subpar Parks

(sounds entertaining) – 224 pages

6. Before The Coffee Gets Cold

(want to read) – 213 pages

7. Normal People

This has 288 pages but is labeled as a “quick read”. It must be good!

8. The Pearl

(read in school) – 96 pages

9. Old Man and the Sea

10. Reading People: How Seeing the World Through the Lens of Personality Changes Everything
