Let’s Not Forget the Hodgepodge [10.7.26]

Happy Wednesday, friends! It’s time for Joyce‘s Wednesday Hodgepodge linkup. Let’s do this!! Here are this week’s questions with my answers in italics.

1. What’s something you recently forgot to do? Is your memory these days more like a sieve or an elephant?

I forgot to plan the whole month of September in my planner. Y’all…I was out there just winging it! LOL I am usually more of an elephant but I have been really REALLY busy lately so not so much an elephant…but so far, October has been better.

2. Share a trick/strategy you have to help you remember things you need to remember.

Write it in my planner, and put a reminder in my phone. Now, if I will just remember to look at the planner…

3. What’s your favorite fall vegetable to cook with? Do you prefer your fall veggies roasted, blended into a warm soup, or fresh in a crisp autumn salad?

Fall veggie?

4. October 5th is/was National Do Something Nice Day. Did you? If so tell us about it. Or maybe someone did something nice for you, and if that’s the case, please share.

I wasn’t mean or acting ugly, so we’ll go with that LOL.

5. Nathaniel Hawthorne is credited with the quote “I cannot endure to waste anything so precious as autumnal sunshine by staying in the house.”

Do you tend to spend more time outside this time of year? Yes! I love this time of year!

Do you actively pause to soak in fleeting moments of beauty in your daily routine? Elaborate. Yes! I love the changing leaves, the cool, crisp air, the fall smells…all of the fall things!

6. Insert your own random thought here.

Uh…I don’t think I have anything random this time.
