It’s time to look at the book I read in December!

Death on the Island – Eliza Reid

An international group of people has come together from a diplomatic dinner on a small island village off the coast of Iceland. There’s Kristján, the village’s mayor, who is still mourning the loss of a husband; Graeme, an ambassador who is pushing to close a business deal; Jane, Graeme’s wife, who has joined him once again on one of his many business trips; and several others, both from Iceland and other countries. During the after-dinner drinks and entertainment, one of the dinner attendees dies. Was it murder? Everyone in attendance becomes a suspect. Is it somehow tied to Kristján’s husband’s death, which was ruled an accident? It is up to Jane to figure out who did it, how they did it, and why. She soon realizes that this little island is full of secrets and that no one is safe.
