Weekend Update [11.2.26]

It was a busy weekend!!

Friday

This is what welcomed me when I arrived to work Friday morning HAHA.

When I got off work, I met my mom at the grocery store and we got groceries, and then we got to work putting up the tree and putting on the lights.

Saturday

Saturday morning, I got up and ran 2.5 miles. It was a beautiful morning for a run (though I would have liked a little cooler temperature).

After running, I drank coffee and ate breakfast.

While my mom went to her small group meeting at church, the cats slept and I started on laundry. Y’all!! We had two weeks worth of laundry. That is unusual for us but the weekend before was extremely busy. I was concerned that we were going to be naked LOL

When my mom got finished with her small group meeting, she met me at my work and we measured the building (I will be working on a shop floor layout once the dividing wall is taken down in a month or two.) Once we finished there, we decided to go to a nearby antique shop. That led to going to three more 🙂 We did stop for lunch on the way. My mom bought a vintage oil-converted-to-electric lamp for her room. I didn’t buy anything antique this time but did buy a book for the barrister bookcase, a Colonel Reb throw pillow that matches my room colors, and a “book blind date” book.

The trees downtown are looking beautiful!

When we got home, we fueled up with coffee and a brownie, and then…

…finished decorating the Christmas tree!! 🙂 I love it!

Sunday

Sunday morning was normal schedule, with no extra classes. Sunday School was great as always. (This time, due to time change, our Children’s Director had cinnamon rolls and coffee for everyone).

Worship was wonderful, and Children’s Church and the Word was also great! After church, we came home and ate leftovers, and relaxed for a while.

We got dressed again and headed out to eat for my best friend’s birthday. We had fun and ate delicious food. I forgot to take pictures 🙁

We came home and got ready for the week.

Happy Monday!!
