Happy Wednesday, friends! It’s time for Joyce‘s Wednesday Hodgepodge linkup. Let’s do this!! Here are this week’s questions with my answers in italics.

1. “Deep summer is when laziness finds respectability.” Sam Keen
Do you feel less guilty relaxing in July than you do in January? Elaborate.
I absolutely feel less guilty relaxing in July than in January. Why? Because it is hot and humid here in the summer, so I stay inside as much as possible. If that means I’m relaxing more, so be it.
2. What’s a telltale sign you’re upset?
I usually get quiet. Sometimes, my face says it before anything else.
3. July 16th is National AI Day. What are your general thoughts and/or experiences with AI? Have you purposely used it? Does it excite you, scare you, or worry you? What do you see as a benefit? How about something relating to AI you see as a negative?
I love AI. I have used it to edit photos and create some images. The more I realize what it can do, it excites me. It has saved me time on doing things more than once. The hardest part for me sometimes is trying to figure out how to tell it what I want.
4. You’re invited to a summer potluck and are asked to bring an appetizer, salad/side, or dessert. Which category do you go for and what are you bringing?
I’m going to choose salad/side and bring Ham & Pea Pasta. It is something I can make fairly quickly, it can be made ahead of time and refrigerated, and it is delicious.
5. It wouldn’t be summer without___________________.
mosquitoes :/
6. Insert your own random thought here.
I could use another week…or 52…at the beach.
