It was a busy, but good weekend!!
Friday
Friday, I ran a few errands and planted 3 peonies. That was about it, other than just enjoying being at home.
Saturday
Saturday morning, we were up early to head about 3 hours south for the regional choir practice for our state’s celebration for America 250. It was a three-hour drive there, a three-hour practice, and then a three-hour drive home. It was a long day with a lot of driving, but it was still a good day. We did stop and have a very delicious lunch before heading back home.

I did start some laundry after showers, and then we ate supper and went to bed. I did get some reading in before falling asleep:)

Sunday
Sunday was our Next Step Sunday for May. I had gotten my life together, so I had all of the booklets ready to go before I got to church that morning. All I had to do was distribute them to the appropriate class locations. All classes went well; Sunday School was awesome; worship was phenomenal; and the Pastor’s message was ON POINT! It was a great Sunday morning!

After church, we had the final Next Step class (for those who had previously completed the first 3), which is a “welcome lunch”, The food was delicious, and it was great hearing from the ones who completed the class.
After that, we came home, finished laundry, and just relaxed, getting ready for the week ahead.
Happy Monday!!
