Weekend Update [4.20.26]

It was a nice Spring weekend!!

Friday

Friday afternoon, we worked on weeding the flowerbeds. We had planned to put out mulch, but it was going to rain, so we had to wait.

After the weeding was done, we came inside for the rest of the evening to shower, eat supper, and relax.

Saturday

Saturday morning, I got up, fed the cats, and had a cup of coffee. There was a Walk for Life at the local city park, but I didn’t walk it. I did go and support them by buying two shirts. After I got back home, I ate breakfast, then we headed outside to plant the flowers we bought and to move some from a broken pot to a new one.

With the planting and moving done, we came inside because it was going to start raining soon. The rest of the afternoon was spent doing laundry, some church stuff, and relaxing.

Sunday

Sunday morning, I was up early to curl my hair. Sometimes, I put forth a little more effort HAHA. The morning routine was the same – Starbucks for coffee and breakfast on the way to church. I got to the church, ate my breakfast, drank my coffee, and then it was time for choir practice. It was Choir Sunday!!

Sunday School was great, worship was beautiful, and the message was exactly what we needed!

After church, we had a Children’s Department lunch and meeting. We have a lot of new people, so it was a nice time of discussing expectations, but also getting to all be together to fellowship.

After that meeting, we had the church business/financial meeting. It didn’t last very long, but still, I was at the church all day LOL. After that was over, I came home, ate supper, watched some NCIS, and crashed early.
