It was Easter weekend!!
Friday
Friday morning, I went out and volunteered with Samaritan’s Purse. About lunchtime, I came home and showered, and then my mom and I went to the 4:15 showing of “Project Hail Mary”. It is a two and a half hour movie, but it didn’t feel that long. After the movie, we came home, ate something with more sustenance than theatre snacks, and then it was bedtime.
Saturday
Saturday morning, I was up early to head to the church for the Community Egg Hunt. I did not get a picture because we were busy, but we had about 300 kids.
After the egg hunt was over, the praise team practiced, and then it was home to relax for the rest of the afternoon and evening.
Sunday
Easter Sunday! It was a big day! Of course, there was Starbucks on the way to church!
We had a wonderful time in Sunday School, a song from our 3 and 4-year-olds, a skit from our 5 to 10 year olds, and a wonderful time of worship and Word, while the children were in Children’s Church.
After church, we went to eat a delicious buffet lunch, and then came home to relax for the rest of the evening.
