On the first Friday of each month, I chat over coffee about what’s happening with me. So, grab a coffee (iced or hot) and pull up a chair! It’s the first one of the year!!
If we were to sit down for a chat over coffee, I would tell you that Winter Storm Fern/Ice Storm 2026 was something else! Thankfully, we (as a whole) are pretty much on the other side of it now. There are still so many without power, but it seems that the majority of those affected have their power back on.
If we were to sit down for a chat over coffee, I would say that I have a 25K trail run up near the Ozarks next weekend, complete with a creek crossing. Am I crazy? Probably! Am I still excited? Yep!
If we were to sit down for a chat over coffee, I would tell you that January felt like the longest month, but February is here and I am ready for it. It is also time for the daffodils to bloom 🙂

Glad to hear the worst is over when it comes to the snow and ice. In Philly we’re just waiting for the temperatures to rise so we can get some snow melt! We desparately need it.
