Weekend Update [9.22.25]

It was a nice weekend!

Friday

Not much to report from Friday. I didn’t go to a football game. I just stayed home and chilled…and worked on laundry. I did enjoy it though 🙂

Saturday

I got up early, fed the cats, read my daily scriptures, and then headed out for a run. It felt good to be outside again! After that, it was time for coffee and breakfast.

One of the neighborhood cats was taking the relaxation seriously!

The rest of Saturday consisted of church work needed for the next day, preparing some blog posts, finishing the laundry, and simply enjoying being at home and relaxing.

Sunday

Sunday morning was a great time of Sunday School, worship, Children’s Church, and the Word. I really do love Sundays at church!

After church, my mom and I went to the delicious local Southern cooking buffet for a quick lunch, and then headed to the old downtown Coliseum for the local Symphony orchestra’s first performance of the season. During intermission, we went up into the mezzanine and balcony levels to check them out. We have actually sat in the mezzanine area before, but have never been up to the balcony. It was really neat to see the original seats.

We enjoyed the symphony, but it was also nice to be home and relax for the evening.

Happy Monday!!
