I had no intentions of taking a week off from blogging, but I did, and I’m not even upset about it. But now it’s time to get back to it!
It was a nice weekend! The ending of the beach vacation but still nice!
Friday
Friday was our last day at the beach. After a morning on shore and in the water, we showered, got dressed, went to get some lunch, did some shopping, and played a round of putt-putt golf.
The rest of the evening was spent walking the beach one last time and packing to leave the next morning.
Saturday
Saturday morning, we got up, ate breakfast, enjoyed one last cup of coffee on the deck, packed up the vehicle, and drove the 6 hours north toward home.
Once we were home, the task of laundry began. The rest of the evening and night were spent on laundry and getting back into the routine of everything.
Sunday
Sunday morning was another great church service. We stopped at Subway on the way home and then headed home to relax, finish laundry, and prepare for the week ahead.
As much as I love the beach, it is nice to be back in my routine.
