It was a busy weekend!
Friday
Friday afternoon, I worked on laundry and relaxed.
Saturday
So…I did a thing Saturday. We were up early, fed the cats, stopped at Starbucks for coffee and Jack’s for breakfast, and headed an hour south. We had researched most of the week (as soon as I found out the Santa Fe wasn’t worth repairing), and the Telluride was at the top of the list for reliability, spaciousness, etc. I did test drive other vehicles that were at the top of the lists, but the Telluride still won out when I test drove it. If you’ve read an earlier post, you know my Santa Fe was going to cost more to fix (motor) than it was worth…it should have lasted a lot longer but that is a long story for another day:( I’ve loved the way Tellurides looked for a while, but I was nowhere near wanting to buy one. I expected the Santa Fe to keep going for many, many miles, and many, many years. But, the Lord must have seen that I needed a new vehicle, and He made a way, so here it is! I love it!

Buying the Telluride took up a good bit of the day, but we were back home around 2. That left just enough time to feed the cats, shower, do a few quick things for church, and then get ready for church. We had a Youth Revival that night, so we headed to the church early. It was really good, but I was tired, so I was struggling all night. We ate afterward and got home that night about 10:30. It was straight to bed!
Sunday
Sunday morning was like most – Starbucks, church (last youth revival service). It was all good!

That afternoon, we were having our annual Back to School Water Day, so several of us stayed after to get everything together before the children got there at 4. It was a great fun afternoon. I think the big kids (aka adults) had as much fun as the kids!

Happy Monday!
