Happy Wednesday, friends! Let’s do this!! It’s time for Joyce‘s Wednesday Hodgepodge linkup! Here are this week’s questions with my answers in italics.
1. When does time pass slowly for you? When does time pass quickly for you?
Time usually passes slowly for me when I am waiting for something, whether exciting or not. Waiting for a vacation, or something less exciting but that needs to be over and done, seems to take forever to arrive.
Likewise, time seems to pass quickly while on vacation. I usually want time to slow down a little so I can get the most out of it. Also, time usually passes quickly when I’m busy (but not always).
2. Do you have a favorite beach? What’s your favorite ‘beach’ activity? Tell us what we’d find in your beach bag.
My favorite beach is Folly Beach, SC. It is where we spent many summer vacations as a family.
My favorite beach activity is lying or sitting on the beach and reading. I do enjoy getting in the water sometimes.
In my beach bag, you will, for sure, find a book, sunscreen, water, and lip gloss. I’m sure there will probably be a snack or two as well.
3. Your favorite book or movie with a beach setting?
I know there are so many other great ones that I have read, but the first one to pop into my mind is “The Bookshop on the Shore” by Jenny Colgan.
4. What’s a food you love, but find it’s a pain to eat? Is it worth it?
Lobster. To me, it is not worth it. But I will eat it if it is just the tail, or in a lobster roll 😉
5. Do you like roller coasters? What’s the best (or worst) roller coaster you’ve been on?
Yes! I love roller coasters! The best I’ve been on are the Velocicoaster & Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure at Universal Islands of Adventure in Orlando, FL.
