It was a busy weekend, but still a good one!
Friday
On Friday night, I attended our local Slugburger Festival with a friend. We did not ride any rides. We went for the fellowship, slugburger, and lemonade.
After that, I spent the rest of the night reading, then fell asleep.
Saturday
I had a meeting at the church at 7 am so I got up at 4, fed the cats, got dressed, and headed out for a 2.5-mile run. I got back home, showered, got dressed, and headed to the meeting, with a stop at Starbucks on the way. I needed the coffee, as always 🙂

It was a good meeting, and after it was over, my mom and I went to a local nursery that was having a sale on the seasonal annuals in the greenhouse. We left with 4 mandevillas and two hostas.

Of course, buying plants meant planting them. As you can see, we had one of the neighborhood cats as a cheerleader, supervisor, whatever she chose to be at the time.
Once the plants were in the ground, it was time for a shower, finishing laundry, and supper. After that, I read some before going to sleep.

Sunday
Sunday morning was our monthly Next Step classes. Those went great, Sunday School was great, worship was wonderful, and the message from the Pastor was awesome!

After church, and after the “Meet the Pastors” luncheon for those who have finished the Next Step classes, we came home and relaxed the rest of the day. My mom did make a “6-Ingredient Gooey Swedish Chocolate Cake”, or Kladdkaka. It is delicious!

Happy Monday!
