It’s time to link up with Marsha in the Middle for the monthly prompts. Every month has a different prompt, so let’s get into August’s list:
Marsha’s prompt came with this description: We haven’t done “Would You Rathers“ for a while, so let’s have a go with them, OK? It’s summertime in the Northern Hemisphere so, to my friends in the Southern Hemisphere, feel free to convert some of these to be weather-appropriate.
#1: Would you rather vacation in Alaska or Bali?
I have been to Alaska, so I would choose Bali. However, I went to Alaska in the winter (which I loved) so now I would like to vacation there in the summer as well.
#2: Would you rather learn to play a musical instrument or learn to paint?
I took piano lessons and played the flute in band, so I would like to learn to paint.
#3: Would you rather wear flip-flops or sneakers?
Sneakers.
#4: Would you rather ride the highest roller coaster or bump along the lazy river ride?
How about both? 🙂
#5: Would you rather go on a road trip or take a flight to a faraway destination?
A flight to a faraway destination!
#6: Would you rather have a summer birthday or a winter birthday?
I don’t think I have a preference. I can see the good in both. I have a fall birthday though, and I love it! 🙂
#7: Would you rather go to a flea market or a craft fair?
I think I would like both, but would probably choose the flea market more often than the craft fair.
#8: Would you rather go tubing down a river or zip-lining through the trees?
Definitely zip-lining through the trees! I have done that, and I love it!
#9: Would you rather go on a safari or a whale watching tour?
Since I have already been on a whale watching tour, I would rather go on a safari.
#10: Would you rather be able to control the weather or talk to animals?
hmm…I guess I would rather be able to control the weather. I already talk to animals HAHA (whether they listen and understand doesn’t matter). I’m sure lots of people would not like for me to control the weather, but I don’t like the Southern summer heat as they do, so they would never get to have that LOL
