It was a nice (mostly) fall-feeling weekend!
Friday
On Friday night, I attended a high school football game with my best friend. Her “niece” is a Senior this year, and it was Senior Night. It was supposed to rain about the time the game started, but it never did. It only sprinkled for a few minutes. It did rain about 10-15 miles west of where we were. It was hot for a while, but once it got dark, and the rain that we didn’t get brought in the cooler air, it felt pretty good outside.

I got home about 10 and went straight to bed. Football gaming is exhausting! LOL
Saturday
I had planned to get up and run (either outside if it wasn’t raining, or at the gym if it was), but when I woke up, I had a splitting headache. (probably brought on by the rain, and the night air…and possibly screaming at the game). I took something for the headache and lay back down for a while. That seemed to help enough to get myself going for the day. I read my scriptures before eating breakfast.

After breakfast, I worked on laundry and church work. I was finally able to get the headache subdued enough, so my mom and I went for a 2.5-mile walk. It felt so good outside! Side note: We had the windows open all day!

The rest of the evening was spent finishing the weekend chores, getting some church work done, and relaxing.

Sunday
Nothing new to report – Starbucks was good; Sunday School, worship, Children’s Church, and the Word were all great, as always! I did have a lunch meeting immediately after church, but after that, I was home the rest of the day to relax and get ready for the week.

Happy Monday!!

What a fun weekend! So glad you had a blast at the football game- there is nothing like high school football in my book!
