It was another busy weekend!
Friday
Friday afternoon, I had plans to go to the church to help the Ladies Committee get ready for the Ladies Conference the next morning. Since I was already going, my mom decided she would go to take the “First-time guest” cups to the church, since they were being delivered to the house that day. But…we had to wait on the UPS delivery. When he arrived, he told us he had 36 boxes. OMG! So, he helped us unload from the truck, to my and my mom’s vehicles HAHA. (so… backstory on the 36 boxes…we had ordered our usual cups back in May, but they kept being on backorder, so they were told to cancel the order and we picked out a different kind. Those ended up being no good because the logo literally just wiped off, so they refunded us for those, and replaced them with another one. But, apparently they didn’t cancel the original order, so when the backorder came in, they shipped those too!)
With both vehicles loaded, we headed to the church.
I had to stop on the way and get some supper at Chick-fil-A.
Then, I was on my way. Once we got to the church, we unloaded all the boxes, then had to haul them up the stairs to where they will be stored. Thankfully, one of the ladies’ husbands was there and he helped us 🙂 By the time we got all the boxes stored, the ladies were almost finished, but I did stay to finish with what was left. In all that time, I still had not eaten my supper, so I ended up taking it back home with me and eating it there. I’m sure it actually tasted better because I was eating it at home, IYKYK. I finished out the night by working on some laundry.
Saturday
Saturday morning, I did not run due to the Ladies Conference. We were there early, breakfast was at 9 am…
…and the conference started at 10. We had 5 speakers, and every one of them was phenomenal. We all agreed that this is the best one we’ve ever had!
After the conference was over, we came home, ate lunch, worked on laundry, did church work, and relaxed.
Sunday
Sunday morning was our Next Step classes. After that, we had Sunday School, great worship, and an AWESOME message from our Pastor!
After church, we had our “Lunch with the Pastor” class for those who have finished the first 3 Next Step classes. When that was over, I came home, did some laundry and some repairs to my sister’s clothes, did some church work, and relaxed the rest of the night. …and tried to mentally prepare for the week ahead.
