It was a nice, productive, and dry weekend! If you remember the post from last week, Memorial Day weekend was rainy, all weekend long.
Friday
Friday, we were still on PTO so we got up when we woke up (or rather, when the cats woke us up), ate breakfast, drank our coffee, watched some TV, and then we worked on getting our new outside cameras set up. We went and picked up lunch, and also stopped to pick up some petit fours. We have had cupcakes from this cake lady/bakery, but hadn’t had a chance to try her petit fours until now. Oh. my. word!! Delicious!!
After lunch, we got to work on putting up our outside cameras. We had three to install. It was fairly easy. It took maybe an hour to do all three. Soon, we were back inside, and spent the rest of the day doing laundry, watching TV, reading, and loving on cats.
Saturday
Saturday morning, I got up at 5am to get in a 2.5 mile run. It was nice to be back outside on the pavement! After my run, it was time for Bible Recap, coffee, breakfast, and a little bit of TV.
After that, we got to work on different things. I worked on church stuff all day, but stopped for lunch, and then another time for some tea 🙂
After all work was finished for the night, we showered, ate supper, my sister came over, and we visited with her for a little bit before going to bed.
Sunday
Sunday was like most – Starbucks, no special classes – but the worship was just as great and the word from our Bishop was phenomenal.
After church, my mom and I went to a local Southern cooking buffet, before heading to my childhood best friend’s (and still a great friend) wedding/housewarming shower.
After the shower, we were home the rest of the night, relaxing.
