It’s the last Saturday of the month! It’s time for the “bonus” Saturday post! I’m linking up with Jennifer from My Joyful Life. She hosts the link-up every last Saturday.
Now, let’s get to what we are here for: some things I loved, some things I learned, some things that went well & some things I let go of.

LOVED
Finally being able to move into our renovated sanctuary at church!!

Easter celebrations! (community egg hunt & Easter Sunday)

LEARNED
There is a British Sign Language (BSL). I know ASL is “American Sign Language” but I never thought there being anything else. I was watching a British show and they mentioned BSL (both a suspect and the medical examiner were hearing impaired), and that’s when it dawned on me that BSL was “British Sign Language”.
WENT WELL
I would say most of April has gone well, so far. We did have a flood right before we were to move into our newly renovated sanctuary at church, but thankfully, with help from a restoration company, we were able to move in on Easter Sunday (mentioned above)! We also had a very successful Community Egg Hunt the day before that.
LET GO OF
The feeling that I should be reading…if that makes sense. April has been very busy, and I felt bad for not making time to read, but then I decided it didn’t matter. I don’t have to compare my reading to others.

The new sanctuary looks beautiful and very impressive, and I’m so glad that the flooding didn’t cause much problem. I understand what you mean about the feeling that you “should” be reading. I’ve read far less the last couple of years than previously, and I have to remind myself that it’s okay and this is just the season I’m in. Looks like your April has been great and I hope next month will be as well!
Your new sanctuary looks beautiful! You are right, you don’t have to compare your reading to anyone else’s. Your time is yours to do with it what you want/have time for. There are seasons for everything!
