Hodgepodge of Curiousity [5.14.25]

Happy Wednesday, friends! Let’s do this!! It’s time for Joyce‘s Wednesday Hodgepodge linkup! Here are this week’s questions with my answers in italics.

1. What’s something you’re curious about right now?

I am curious how hard (or easy) it is going to be to communicate with the locals in Italy. I know Google can probably answer this for me, but I haven’t had a chance to look it up yet. I’m sure my Southern drawl will make it a bit more difficult. I’ll have to be sure I’m using my “professional” voice.

2. If you could plan the perfect girl’s weekend getaway, where would you go and what would be on the agenda? Do you have anything like this on your calendar in the next few months?

I think a beautiful beach, maybe even in another country, would be great! There would be a lot of relaxing, eating, and laughing. I do have a beach vacation and an international vacation planned, but they aren’t the same. The beach is in August, and the one in Italy is in November.

3. What’s the most unique item in your refrigerator right now?

Muscadine jelly. I don’t think it is unique, but some people might.

4. In this season of your life, what do you find most challenging?

I would say, trying to get all of the things done, keeping it all balanced.

5.  Do you collect anything? If so, why that?

Cats? Not really 🙂 I do have three, though. I do like some cute stuff with cats on it, but I wouldn’t say I collect it.

6. Insert your own random thought here.

I dread the Southern summer humidity.

My experience in Italy has been really wonderful and am sure you’ll enjoy your time there. Pantomime works in most places : ) Many Europeans know at least some English which helps. It’s a beautiful country and I’m ready for a trip back.
