Happy Wednesday, friends! Let’s do this!! It’s time for Joyce‘s Wednesday Hodgepodge linkup! Here are this week’s questions with my answers in italics.

1. What’s a characteristic you admire in others? Elaborate.
Grace. We all have different personalities, something we’re fighting, maybe something weighing so heavy that we may not even realize anyone’s around. Let’s be nice and show grace. I say this because I need to remind myself too.
2. Do you have a favorite mug? Let’s see it. Why is this one your favorite?
I have favorites, not just one 🙂 It depends on my mood and/or the season. The ones shown below (plus more!!) make me happy, and they just feel right for drinking (if you know, you know).

3. July 15th is/was National Give Something Away Day…will you (or did you, depending on what day you answer these questions) give something away? If so, what? Do you regularly give away, or do you tend to ‘accumulate’?
I haven’t given anything away lately, but I have a bag of clothes and some pairs of shoes that are currently “in progress” of being given away. I try to wait until the bag is full before tying it up and giving it away.
I won’t say that I don’t accumulate, but I am certainly getting better at NOT accumulating. I work on it LOL
4. You’re planning a trip. Do you prefer exploring big cities or smaller, more off-the-grid towns? World Atlas lists these 12 ‘off the grid’ towns to see in 2025. How many on the list have you seen? Of those listed, which one would you most like to visit? Tell us why?
Boothbay Harbor, Maine; Middlebury, Vermont; New Hope, Pennsylvania; Rehoboth Beach, Delaware; Brevard, North Carolina; Saugatuck, Michigan; Medora, North Dakota; Ouray, Colorado; Lamoille, Nevada; Neah Bay, Washington; Hood River, Oregon; or Cambria, California
I prefer to explore smaller towns, but I do like a big city sometimes…in small doses.
I have not been to any of the places listed, but I would be interested in visiting all of them if I had the chance. After doing a quick research on all 12, I am most interested in Boothbay Harbor, ME; Brevard, NC; Saugatuck, MI; Medora, ND; Neah Bay, WA; and Hood River, OR. But, if I had to pick only one, I would say Boothbay Harbor, ME. It looks a lot like Bar Harbor, ME, and I love that place! My next choice would be Neah Bay, WA.
5. Have you ever…ridden a motorcycle? Been to a Disney park? met a celebrity? won a contest? Tell us something about whatever you answered yes to on this list.
Ridden a motorcycle? Yes. I had friends who had a cousin with a motorcycle, and he would take us on a ride. It wasn’t a long ride on a road, but it was still a ride on a motorcycle.
Been to a Disney park? Yes! Both of them!

Met a celebrity? Yes!! Zachary Levi! We met him after watching him in “First Date”.
{A funny story – a friend who was on the trip with us happened to see him walking down the sidewalk the day we were going to see his show (the rest of us were oblivious HA!) and went up to him to say hey or something. Anyway, he came running back to us, swung around a light pole (no joke!!), and told us that he had seen him and told him we were coming to see his show that night. Anyway…that night, when he came out to meet fans, he saw the guy with us and yelled, “hey big guy!!”. We all felt so special that he had remembered him.}

Won a contest? I guess it counts as a contest, but I have guessed the closest to the number of M&Ms in a jar, and won the jar of M&Ms 🙂
