A Shakespearean Hodgepodge [3.11.26]

Happy Wednesday, friends! It’s time for Joyce‘s Wednesday Hodgepodge linkup. Let’s do this!! Here are this week’s questions with my answers in italics.

1. Are you a naturally trusting person? Is trust built on logic or ‘gut instinct’? Does everyone deserve a second chance? Elaborate.

I would say that I try to be a trusting person naturally, but sometimes I think it really depends on “first impressions”. You know, when you first meet someone, and there’s just something that makes you suspicious about them. I know that’s bad, but that’s how it is sometimes.

I think trust is built on both logic and “gut instinct”. If you know someone isn’t trustworthy, that is using logic. At the same time, sometimes you can just “sense” that you can’t trust someone. That’s “gut instinct”.

In most cases, I do believe that everyone deserves a second chance.

2. ‘Beware the Ides of March’…March 15th on the ancient Roman calendar, these words were made famous by William Shakespeare in his play Julius Caesar.  Caesar was assassinated on March 15th, 44 B.C. Have you read any Shakespeare? If so, do you have a favorite? Have you ever been to Rome?

I have a few things by Shakespeare. The first two things that come to mind are Romeo & Juliet and Macbeth.

I have been to Rome!! I went last year 🙂 I loved it!!

3. Do you like a Caesar salad? If given the choice between a garden/house salad or Caesar which do you order? Anchovies or no? What’s your favorite salad dressing?

I do like a Caesar salad, but given the choice, I would rather have a garden salad. Definitely not anchovies!! My favorite salad dressing is honey mustard, followed by ranch.

4. Where do you typically work (or blog if that’s easier) at home? Do you have a dedicated home office space? Are you happy with that space?

I work/blog in the office. It is a dedicated home office space. I am happy with the space. We have plenty of windows to open when the weather is “right”, and those same windows provide plenty of sunshine either way.

5. Snow drops, daffodils, lenten roses, crocus, hyacinth, or early tulips…what’s your favorite early Spring flower?

All of these are beautiful, and I wouldn’t mind having them all, but my absolute favorites are daffodils! They make me happy 🙂

6. Insert your own random thought here.
