It was a productive weekend!!
Friday
This is what I walked into work to Friday morning 🙂 my coworker coordinated with our boss and had the door unlocked and the security alarm disarmed so she could have this all set up. She also made that strawberry cake, and OMG! It was the best I have ever had! She also bought my lunch that day too.
After work, I met my mom at the grocery store and we got groceries and then settled in for a nice night at home.
Saturday (My birthday)
We were up early (before the sun) and headed out for our last community event for fall. It was a good day, but it did get hotter than I liked.
We left around 1 and headed home. I worked on laundry but soon took a nap. That was followed by a cup of coffee and a slice of leftover strawberry cake. The rest of the afternoon and evening was filled with some church work, chores, shower, and supper.
After supper, before bed, I remembered that it was a full moon, the Harvest Moon, so I had to go outside and check it out. Man, was it big and beautiful?!
Sunday
Sunday morning was like most, except that I had an early meeting, so we headed out a little earlier than usual.
Sunday School was a wonderful time, followed by an AWESOME time of worship. While we heard another great message from our pastor, the children went to Children’s Church and learned about Pirates Who Pray (it’s about praying and times when we pray).
After church, my mom and I went to eat at a local buffet restaurant and had a good lunch with some church folks. After that, we came home and I was able to relax a little bit and get some things done, before heading out for a small group gathering. It was a fun time with great food and great fellowship.
When I got home, I crashed!
