It was a nice, productive weekend!!
Friday
Friday afternoon, after I got off work, my mom and I went to get groceries. We took the groceries home, put the groceries up, and headed to our favorite Mexican restaurant to eat supper with friends before going to watch a movie. We watched “The End of Oak Street”. It was really good – intense at times, but still good. I would describe it as a little science-fictiony, (and I don’t like sci-fi) but I actually like this!
After the movie, we came home and crashed.

Saturday
Saturday morning, my mom and I both had a hair appointment. But we were able to get up, have coffee, and eat breakfast before getting dressed and heading to the appointment.
Once we got back home, I spent the rest of the day doing quite a bit of church work, working on blog posts, and looking for a dress to wear to a formal December wedding.
Sunday
The Sunday morning routine on the way to church was like most Sundays- a stop at Starbucks for coffee and breakfast on the way to church. We had a wonderful time in Sunday School, absolutely amazing time of worship, and a beyond-phenomenal message from our Pastor.

After church, my mom, my best friend and I went to eat at a local lunch buffet. On the way back home, we stopped at Harbor Freight to get some zip ties. When we got home, I did my afternoon “chores”, made and drank a cappuccino, and then went outside to “fix” the underside of my mom’s vehicle. (The undercarriage is partly a thick cardboard-type material. She hit a raccoon one time, so every once in a while, we have to zip-tie it back together so the piece doesn’t hang down and drag.)

After I got that fixed, I finished laundry, some blog posts, ate supper, and read a little bit before falling asleep.
Happy Monday!!
