It was Vacation Bible School prep weekend!! It was a busy one!
Friday
Friday morning, I woke up and had cuddle and coffee time:)
That was followed by getting some VBS prep (paperwork-type things) done before heading to the church for the 2nd night of decorating. We drove through our downtown area, which is all decked out for America 250 and our Slugburger Festival! 🙂
It was another long night of decorating, but by the end of the night, a big majority was complete.
Saturday
Saturday morning, it was pretty much the same routine with coffee and kitty cuddles before breakfast. After breakfast, I started getting ready to head back to the church to continue with more preparations for Vacation Bible School.
I’m pretty sure we were all dreaming about vines this weekend HAHA
The day was as long as Friday night, but I was home about 7 (after stopping for Subway for supper). After a shower, I went straight to bed.
Sunday
Sunday morning, I dressed comfortably. I had to be at church before 8 for a meeting, followed by one at 9:30. It was still a great morning, though! We had a great time in Sunday School, followed by amazing worship, and then a great Word from a visiting preacher.
During announcements, my best friend and the children’s director did a mini skit to promote (and hype the kids up for!) Vacation Bible School.
After church, my mom, my best friend, our children’s director, and I went to a local lunch buffet for lunch, before heading back to the church to finish up decorations (the fellowship hall and a few other places could not be finished until church was over). We weren’t there too long, and it was nice to be home before too late.
