Let’s Look: Things I’ve Outgrown

Today, I am going to look at things I’ve outgrown.

Barbies

…or have I? HAHA – Yes, I have…but given the time and opportunity, I might play with them again.

FOMO

I would be invited to things, and would usually go because I didn’t want to miss out. That has changed. I feel no guilt (most of the time LOL) for saying no.

Caring about how I dress

I used to care about “the styles” and what people thought if I wasn’t wearing the latest. Now, I do not care…at all. Am I more in style now? Maybe, but if not, I simply do not care anymore.

Saying “yes” to everything

Some of this could go back to FOMO, but also, I hate to turn people down when they asked me to do something. Now, if I don’t feel I can, or don’t want to, I say no, and I’m fine with it.

Being accessible all the time

I used to feel like I needed to answer everyone all the time. Now, I will wait until I am free to answer. I do not have to be accessible all the time. I am usually busy at work, so if someone texts about getting something on the church calendar, they have to wait until I am free. There are a few people that I will stop for a minute and answer, but most must wait now.

Keeping up with celebrities

I used to keep up with my favorite celebrities. Now, I don’t have time, nor do I care. I still have favorites, and if I see something about them, I will probably read or watch it, but I am not seeking that information out.

Happy Wednesday!
