Happy Wednesday, friends! It’s time for Joyce‘s Wednesday Hodgepodge linkup. Let’s do this!! Here are this week’s questions with my answers in italics.
1. Do you like your name? Are you named after someone (grandparent, etc)? If you have children, how did you choose their names?
I do like my name. I wasn’t named after any family members, but I was named after Rachel and Elisabeth in the Bible.
2. A piece of red velvet cake, a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a slice of blueberry pie? You can only have one…which will you choose? If you could pick any red, white, or blue dessert other than those listed here, what would you choose?
Out of a piece of red velvet cake, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or a slice of blueberry pie, I would choose a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of blueberry pie 😉 (put the two together, and it becomes one thing LOL)
If I was choosing some other red, white, or blue dessert, I would say strawberry cobbler.
3. What’s a job you’d like to try for just one day?
An astronaut.
4. Any patriotic decor in your home currently or coming up this summer?
Yes!
5. It’s the end of May, so let’s exercise our brains. Sum up your month with an acrostic using the word MAY. We can do it!!

June doesn’t seem to be quite as full as May, but it is busy. I have the America 250 celebration for our state, and then Vacation Bible School starts, and at the same time, I’ll be packing for a beach vacation. We leave 3 days after VBS ends LOL

I’m helping with VBS at our church mid-June this year. It’s been a while since I’ve done this as we always seem to have a conflict with the timing. I’m gearing up lol. I was a teacher and always found VBS a little on the chaotic side. We have a beach vacation in early July and I’ll be ready I’m sure.
