It’s time to look at the book I read in April!

Melania – Melania Trump
★★★★★
This autobiography takes us from the beginning of the First Lady’s life all the way to the end of her first four years as First Lady. Whether you agree with her husband’s politics or not, it is a good read about someone interesting. Don’t we all like to sometimes read about people, especially presidents, presidents’ wives, celebrities, and other “famous” people?
A Nantucket Fling – Kathryn Freeman
★★★★
out June 9, 2026
Olivia is an independent businesswoman who is more interested in climbing the corporate ladder than going on vacation. But her niece’s upcoming wedding in Nantucket seems like a good chance to spend time away from work, finally.
Connor is a single dad who is in Nantucket to improve his craft (chef) for a month in the summer, while his parents take care of his daughter.
Connor and Olivia are complete opposites. She is only interested in securing an upcoming promotion, and he is a former “playboy”. …and there is an age gap. But, as they say, opposites attract, and a summer fling soon evolves.
When the vacation ends, and they both go back home to England, will the fling continue and become more than a fling?
I will say that it was quite a bit”spicier” than I care for. The storyline and characters were very well written, and I feel both would have been perfectly fine without that much spice. However, despite that, I did enjoy the book.
