“Orange” You Glad It’s the Hodgepodge [10.22.25]

Happy Wednesday, friends! Let’s do this!! It’s time for Joyce‘s Wednesday Hodgepodge linkup! Here are this week’s questions with my answers in italics.

1. What do you like most about your family?

Life has been hard on my biological family. We are a small family, but we are strong, and I love that! As far as church family, I have a huge church family, and one of the things I love about them is that they are always there with open arms!

2. What’s something nice that’s happened to you recently?

I got some really nice things for my birthday 🙂 I got a throw blanket with cats from a friend, a cat print cardigan from another friend, and a really nice ring from my mom.

3. Do you like the color orange? Besides a pumpkin and an actual orange, what’s something orange you love?

It depends on the shade of orange. If it is more of a dull orange, I do like it. If it is a bright orange, or more highlighter orange, then usually not (unless it is for Halloween, and usually on a shirt).

The only orange things I can think of that I love are fall leaves.

4.  What’s something you have now you couldn’t have imagined having five years ago? How does that make you feel? What’s possible now because of it?

Maybe my job title, and with that comes great pay. I am blessed to have this job. Being able to travel is possible because of the great pay.

5. Let’s wrap this one up with an October this or that…

autumn hike or autumn bonfire

pumpkin bread or apple cider donut

cozy sweater or cozy hoodie

apple picking or pumpkin picking

scary movie or Hallmark movie

hay ride or corn maze

twinkle lights or candles

6. Insert your own random thought here.

In case you’re keeping up, or even if you’re not, we are just under 10 days until we leave for Italy! I. CANNOT. WAIT!!

  1. Joyce

I’m excited for you. I’ve had several friends travel to Italy recently (one is still there now) and they’ve all had wonderful experiences. I’m sure you will as well. Sounds like you had a nice birthday. Have a nice week!

  2. Kim Carberry

How wonderful to read about your families, the biological and church.
Happy birthday! I love that cardigan, so cute!
Exciting times, have a fab time in Italy!
